The new spellbinding packaging featured an array of illustrated eccentric shaped pumpkins and ghoulish gourd characters. A vibrant autumnal colour pallet, accompanied by natural details such as leaves and branches and, on closer inspection witch’s fingers, could be seen creeping out of the undergrowth.

With the new packaging set to launch and Halloween creeping ever closer, George was briefed to, once again, create a visual display for the unique Piccadilly corner window.

With sustainability in mind and with the success of his 2019 window instalment, which was shared extensively on social media, George re-vamped the previous centrepiece pumpkin prop with a fresh paint of contemporary purple to match the new autumn colour scheme. Elements from the packaging were blown up in size to create a frame for the glass, which also served to introduce further depth.  Finally, the displays were dressed with an array of twisted treats - from poison truffles to marzipan skulls – all bursting forth to dazzle the senses.

Fortnum and Mason celebrated Halloween with an exclusive assortment for 15 years, with the packaging at the time having been in circulation for four of those years. In 2021 the brand decided to completely reinvent the offering and packaging, making the designs more sophisticated and appealing to both families and the discerning core customer base.
