For Christmas 2013 , the budget was tight, however George found a way of decking the halls of OKA’s flagship store with an array of stock boxes wrapped in rich velvets and ribbons, which resembled presents and served as plinths, allowing the products to be visual merchandised commercially but without losing the magic of Christmas. 

Seasonal garlands framed the windows with warm white lights. Small woodland-themes items including fur rugs, pinecones, fireplace accessories and candles were interspersed and provided a sense of warmth. The directors and staff at OKA stated the store had never looked more festive.

Whilst many are busy searching for the perfect presents for their loved ones and the windows certainly were bursting with all manner of gift ideas, George knew that it’s easy to forget that Christmas is also about entertaining, dinner tables, sofas and one to many family chats.

At the entrance of the store, the focus of the dressing was all around the family, with the typical living room scene often at the heart of all family Christmas celebrations. This Theme was channelled through all three floors, from the window scheme through to in-store installations, George created a fun, festive and inspiring experience for customers but always maintaining the brands crisp luxury identity at the forefront.
